What We Do
MIT Secure Stay operates furnished, all-inclusive shared housing across the DC/Maryland area. Every room comes with utilities, Wi-Fi, and furniture already in place — no setup, no separate utility accounts, no furniture shopping. You bring your bags and move in.
Who We're Built For
Our tenants are usually on a timeline: traveling nurses and medical staff between contract assignments, relocating professionals and J-1 visa holders without U.S. credit history, and contractors or corporate relocators in town for a defined stretch of work. If you need a private, furnished room without a year-long commitment or a from-scratch apartment setup, this is built for you.
How We Operate
- Every applicant — including current housemates — goes through the same background, credit, and rental history screening.
- Lease length varies by property — some units are month-to-month, others are longer-term. Where month-to-month, 30 days' written notice is standard; longer leases require 60 days' written notice. Exact terms are confirmed in your lease agreement.
- Rent is collected through Zelle, RentRedi, or cash — no paper checks.
- Properties are professionally managed, with responsive support after you move in.
